Another "but why?" question answered with a "because why not" answer...

A wise man once said: "Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings."
Well, there you go. One high altitude, unarmed Harrier II on the way. As I've got no spare 1/144 decals I don't know what nationality it will be. Maybe I will leave it stateless, with just some 'no-step' stuff. It's Revell (of Germany)'s 1/144 AV-8B, with 1/700 C-141B wings, a new nose from a bit of 1/35 Gundammery, a V-tail and some added bits of styrene for the small canards and antennae.

That does look "interesting". However I will wait until I see : the final build, the u/c, the load out, and the finished markings, before I make a final coment.

Just an Idea:why not Make Your Harrier into a World Air Force Jet like You'd See in a Thunderbirds Episode? that work for You? Dan

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

It'll be classed as a pandemic soon, whatever that means.  ;D

Wings and tail look slightly Soviet/Russian to me, not sure why but Myasishchev comes to mind when I look at the wings especially the outer ones
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I thought the same  , mostlly regarding the wings, and after you mentioned it I did a bit of searching and found the 'shoulders' and wings look a bit like a Tu-22 or Tu-160 with their wings extended.

Glad I wasn't the only one with his "Russian" hat on a the time  ;D

I do see a high flying recce bird here, like a Canberra PR9. Over Afghanistan maybe. Looking good.
Whatever.

Captain Canada

Wonder if it could still be controlled in the vert in that configuration ? I know it's whif so anything is possible, but I like the idea. Especially for the Afghan ops.
