What's the X-4 fuselage doing in the background Jim? Inquiring minds need to know.  ;D

It is for another project, and it is NOT an X-4 it is a DH 108 Swallow.

Yeah, right..............  ;)

Exactly.... the DH 108 Swallow has one tail pipe at the rear where as the Northrop X-4 has its two jet engines with separate air intakes and exhausts which were on the sides of the fuselage just like the model in the picture .........

So what is it going to be, RAF or Luftwaffe?

It, and it's compatriot, are for a project I call "How to confuse a JMN".
Now just be patient children.

Well after a few days away from modelling I am back on track.

After several (4 plus) sessions of PSR the windows are now removed to my satisfaction.

Wings, tailplanes and engines have now been added.
As Kit said earlier this kit is not one of Airfix's best, it has taken a fair bit of PSR just to get the kit parts to fit together, but I did need the Conway engines to fit the back story.

A little bit of progress here. Most of the major physical work is now done, it is just a matter of deciding on the final colour scheme, Oh yes it will be RAF.

I'm glad that the actual model's nose contours look better than that box-top illustration. That's just horrid.
