I'd say white with the orange belly as it seems to be a common paint schema for fire bombers.

Well I now have the required inspiration for the colour scheme.
Two of these came through Prestwick arrived three days ago and departed the next day.
I did not see them  :banghead: but I got the photo off the Prestwick airport movements site. http://www.egpk.com/

What an excellent scheme that is!  :thumbsup:

I didn't know Buffalo operated CL215s.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

They sure do Kit - there were a few episodes of Ice Pilots NWT where they ferried a pair to Greece(Turkey?) and had "issues" along the way. Real must-see footage for any 215 fan and a personal highlight for that season.

The two CL-215's in that episode were yellow though, the one in the pic above is an ex-New Foundlander one that Buffalo picked up. They got some PBY's previously from the province some years ago (but long gone) and the pic of it in the 'what flew over your house' thread is one of them.
