I didn't see the floats coming either, that's totally BRILLIANT! And the yellow and white really suits it too.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Really delightful|
The upper "glassed" part makes me think of the DHA Drover.
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

That's a 'Should-Have-Been' not a 'What-If'.  As Kit says -- brilliant

zenrat

Yeah baby.  I'm sure i've flown in one of these...

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I love that: nice job Glenn!

The real Gannet has a whacking great fuel tank between the second and third seats, but of course, the Courier could carry that fuel in the former bomb bay space.

Everytime I've looked I've forgotten to congratulate you on a beautiful creation. Very realistic too, looks strong enough to take on some ice-breaking ;D. Really nice .

Thanks for all your kind words - it makes the frustrations of the build worthwhile!
I thought that the empty radar compartment could hold a fuel tank - but that could have c of g implications. Apart from the ex-bomb bay, the wings could carry larger tanks with the elimination of the folding mechanism. Not sure of a sufficient ice-breaking capacity to open the Northwest Passage, though.

The charabanc version tempted for a time - passengers could have been issued with umbrellas to keep off the rain or sun, and be held horizontally to shorten landing runs. I shall leave it to somebody else to take up that challenge ;D

Fuel tanks can be carried in the floats too   ;) especially big ones  ;D

Captain Canada

Exactly. I like the idea of the fuel in the wings. I also like the idea of keeping the fold, would look great in a boathouse awaiting it's next duty !

The pre-flight stweardess's briefing would be something to see........  ;D
