Would like to know if this has been done

I'm curious if anyone has taken a crack at a whif of one of the Middle Eastern terror groups using an autogyro as some sort of attack craft, say, loaded with a number of RPGs for offensive use.

The reason I'm asking is I acquired one of the 1/24 Airfix James Bond autogyros, and think that something like this could be doable.

And if so, are there drawings available of the RPG-7 which would show dimensions?

I found the manual online here in convenient PDF format...but in Russian.

Little Nelly already had weapons but it would be right to change them to suit the user.

I know that about Little Nelly, and might try modding some of the "weapons"(what else would weapons used in a movie be referred to as?), but what I was thinking was a cluster of RPGs on either side, say around 5 or 6, not mounted in rifles, as they are normally mounted, but in some sort of launch tubes, like bottle rockets would be loaded.

And then there would be the paint scheme, probably a desert camo of some sort(and I'm not sure if an outfit like ISIS would do a sloppy job), along with an obligatory "Die All Infidels", in Arabic, on the sides of the fairing and even the fin.

And, as I've been considering it, perhaps this would even be possible, with attack Bensons a possibility, but that could be for further discussion. Because after all, they are trying just about everything else over there, so attack gyrocopters could be possible.

Considering the NSA's bulk data collection is finished, it shouldn't.  Unless your local Black Van decides to pay a visit

RPG's as in the RPG-7 is not mounted in a rifle and is fired from a tube. It does however have a pistol grip to "trigger" the weapon but as that is simply a method of making a contact to fire the device it should be no problem to remove the [pistol grip and fix a switch somewhere in the cockpit to launch the weapon.

Not so.  They were only told to stop collecting data in the US.  That means that they now have much more time to spend collecting data on the rest of us...

That's a neat idea. I guess anybody could use somat like that, militaries large and small, not just terrorists.

And who says they did as they were told anyway?  :-\

Well, as Little Nellie does have rocket pods, how much of a stretch would it be to make the fronts of the pods a tad bigger in order to accommodate the same number of RPG warheads?

That's part of the reason I'm curious about dimensions, as I have doubts that there are any 1/24 "action figures" of terrorists carrying RPGs, so these would have to be something I'd scratch together.

And once I do that, when it comes time to "decorate" this little beastie, I'm not sure how to put any "revolutionary" slogans(such as "death to all infidels", or "death to the great satan") in Arabic, as my knowledge of Arabic characters and nomenclature(in the language) is woefully inadequate.

Will Google show the characters, the letters/phrase of the native language?

The Bond flick version of 'Little Nellie' was evidently a complete pig to fly when tarted up with all the fake weapons,
and slower to boot than the base aircraft, so I rather doubt that a version with actual live ordnance, read 'heavy',
would be of any use.

I realise it's fun for some to to dismiss 'Muslim terrorists' as idiots, but one would think the events of Sept. 11, 2001 (and other events
before and after) would have disabused anyone with a brain of that notion. The recent successes of IS being a case in point.

Evil* they may be, but I wouldn't rely too much on them being stupid.

* 'evil' only if one buys into the same idiotic supernatural crap on which they base their own 'crusade'.

Note - With my moderators hat on I've deleted part of this post and PM'd Jon to explain why.
