Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Wonderful!
And now this looks completely like the Marton X/V from Hungary, see Slava Trudu's http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,24457.0

Very similar, but there are subtle dfferences in shape. Also, fin/rudder and front wheel doors are completely different.
A very aggressive beast, beautiful.
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Thanks for having pointed out these détails! Like expert comparison in a trial Fokker vs. Marton Copyright infringement. ;)

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

That looks very good! In 1943 that should've been quite a pain in the rear end of the allied air comand.. ;D

Edit: I first saw the pics in my phone and for some reason, i thought it was german... :banghead:

And it was proposed to use Rolls-Royce or Daimler-Benz engines in the production D.XXIII.  True.

It would have been a thorn in the side of the Soviet Union, not the Allies, as Finland only fought against the USSR.

Reasonable error - it looks German with the inverted-V engines & that paint scheme.

BTW, really nice looking beast you've built there, Tom!

I really like the fact that the rear engine appears to have a canon firing through the spinner. and it looks like rounds will pass under the tailplane. That would certainly spoil the day of any following opponent.
