Lovely.

How about NMF with the P in a circle prototype markings?

Yes, it's one of the finish I was considering, like the DH 108. OR in sky like the Hawker P 1052 and P 1081.
I just received the Hannant sheet of P decals.
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Looks great ! The good thing about a prototype finish, is that you can always update it when she comes into service

"Thanks" to the confinement, I managed to complete some more hangar queens.
I have to admit I just wanted to free some space on my workbench, so the builds are even more rough than my usual.
Here is the Sea Swallow. The irony is that one of the reasons for abandoning the build for such a long time was the need for "P for prototype" and now I haven't found a place where to put them.  :banghead:

NARSES2

I think the P would go underneath the cockpit. That's where I put it on my DH 108 Swallow.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

This model is beautiful  (no need of P letter according to me) ;)

I'm so glad you finally finished the Sea Swallow, it looks terrific!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

AAArgh! I have just added it, as per Narses suggestion!   ;)

It is the right thing to do, I do hope you have not since removed it again!

Congratulations on a wonderful model.
Cheers.

The Miles Manta would be more apt.

Nice idea. But the fuselage is recognizably Hawker Sea Hawk. I would need to build another with a Miles body. Any likely candidate?
