I know this is a popular event, having read the previous topics. Is it similar to last years RAF Hendon Model Show, as I would like to attend and exhibit a few of my builds?
Any advice would be welcomed.

It's a relatively small and relaxed event. A couple of hours to browse and chat and then down the pub - eh Nick ?

As far as I'm aware we don't have a stand at the show however.

And I fully understand why Martin. Parking is just one of the concerns

Hmm? Did somebody say beer?  :drink:

Yup, it's a small show that is ideal for a social. Nothing to stop anyone putting a table of models out, several London clubs did last time I think.

NARSES2

Yup the only problem was getting away from the guy on the MPM/Special Hobby Empire stand without buying anything  ;D

It's an interesting part of London and being that near Christmas it's a very festive and bustling location. Loads of Xmas Trees on the move  ;D Pubs quite good as well

Do they supply the tables or do you have to bring your own?

NARSES2

Lets be clear you would need to arrange it with the organisers, it's not just a case of turn up and display. There were several clubs there but like any show table allocations are all sorted out before hand.

Its all new to me. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Hi Guys,
I sent an email to Stella in regards to reserving a table for club members.
Her email address is; stellar regal litho.co.uk
Just the Administrator gets the booking form request.

Hi Guys,
Do you think two 3x6 foot tables will be adequate?
4 Complimentary passes to the show are available as well as free parking in Liverpool Street and adjacent roads. Please don't park in permit holders bays. Paid carparks are expensive!

Set up times
Saturday 6-8pm
Sunday 9-11am
Breakdown 4pm-6pm

I have been sent the booking form for reserving the table(s) via email, hence the initial question.

You do know the Saturday is the Model Soldier Show ?

right just to clarify a few things.

1. This forum and the IPMS(UK) What if? Special Interest Group (SIG) are not one and the same thing, they are two separate enteritis that coexist and cooperate with each other. Membership of the forum does not mean automatic membership of the SIG.

2.  As I understand it, to use the forums name would require permission of the Forum Admins, like wise use of the What if? sig's name requires the permission of the SIG leader. Namely me.
Due to the location of this show, ie central London. The travel logistics necessary are not viable for the sig to attend, so please do not book space in the SIG's name, or use our Logo if you do attend.

3. If you so wish to do so, you are of course free to book space at the London plastic model show under your own name. However depending on the booking conditions, you may need to arrange your own public liability insurance. The show hosts would be the best people to ask if PLI is needed.

I always hope for the best.

If there any Whiffers that would like to share a table with me. Please PM me and I'll send you the entry passes when I get them?
