Is there any reason why a multiple camouflage scheme or schemes haven't been applied to AWACS or AEW & C fixed wing aircraft?
The standard colours are: white, different shades of grey  grey-blue, blue and hemp.

AWACS and AEW&C aircraft operate at some altitude, so it makes sense to use a colour that blends in with the sky.

Exactly. I could see a cold war tactical variant in camo tho.

But even in a tactical situation the higher an AEW aircraft could fly the further it could 'see'. Getting down low, where it would need camo, would almost negate its need for existence.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Also,
1)  It would be flying over friendly territory, and presumably would have some sort of escort.
2)  The AWACS would be pumping a lot of electromagnetic radiation.  Ray Charles could find the damn thing with a Fuzzbuster.
The Leng Plateau is lovely this time of year

However !!!

Artist impressions of the Boeing 707 AWACS with the B-52 engines clearly show the SEA USAF camouflage of the period !

There was this one off machine that the Swedes used as a testbed for the Erieye AEW&C system:

As it was just a test aircraft, there was no need to repaint it from the tactical transport scheme it originally had.

Now I know what to do with my Airmodel 1/72 Vickers Varsity and Airfix H.S. Dominie. Thanks.

Oh that is lovely ! That is what I meant. Not necessarily operating down low, just blending in down low

That picture shows it landing/taking off and I remember seeing pictures of the EC-121 in camouflage during Vietnam as well.

That's worth Whiffing, seen the B-52 resin engines as an aftermarket kit in 1/144 and 1/72 scale.
