I'm thinking of a British modified P-38... Let's say they didn't cancel the 143 ordered and fit in merlins and deal with the compressibility issue themselves?
Mr. Moderator Sir, could this be accepted in the GB?

That'd be Mr ModeratorS as there's two of us.........  ;D

I think it's OK, but I'll consult with my fellow Mod.

The Mods have Modded and this one IS allowable.

No problem at all there, one or more could easily have escaped across the Channel.

Could I assume Germany annexed France in 1936 rather than invaded it later?

I think that's outside the 18 month temporal flexibility allowance Bungle, but I'll consult..........

I don't see a problem with that at all.

How? The French military of 1936 could have readily wiped the floor with the small and still
seriously underequipped Wehrmacht of the time.

I don't have a problem with it.  My only concern is you would need to identify a Percy Hobart to create them.   The German Heers was rather an unimaginative bunch when it came to unusual armoured vehicles of practical use and value.  They also seriously lacked time to develop them, unlike the Allies in 1943-44.

It's a good point . I think I've found someone who even outside this build deserves to be known more widely in the world of what if  as he seems to be the person responsible for creating the hybrids the Germans liked so much based on captured equipment.
