Chompbot #5 - Industria Mechanika

I've just finished another group build on another site for "non-injection moulded models" (actually was host for the build as well), this one being a resin model and a bit different to what I normally build.

The model is a resin one from Industria Mechanika who I must say turn out some amazing resin models and are of a really high quality of moulding as well. This build was planned as an out of the box build for a bit of fun plus a chance to find some lost mojo when I started it! Though if anyone is following my builds the the aerospace section, it it quite clear I have found it again and some! Though I think the it change in work patterns was the main thing...plus having nearly two months at home (on full pay  ) probably helped as well!!

So here's the final product, it didn't really generate much interest or excitement in the GB itself, but that doesn't matter as I loved the build, plus it was my first attempt at lighting something. So please enjoy.







though it's a bit hard to see 4 of the instruments are lit as well.

Excellent job! I've seen Industria Mekanica's web site many times but this is the first built up of the Chompbot. I like the paint scheme too.

Nice one - that looks really good.

Although the website comes across as super-professional, IM is actually a one-man-band literally run out of a garage, which makes the quality and presentation all the more impressive. I love Michael's stuff, but I just can't afford it I'm afraid.
