Yes indeed. I like the head on view, and the whole premise seems pretty good. I'd change the horizontal tail if I were to ever build it, just to give it more of a large 109 look.

Alternate real aircraft that you could give to the RAF or Luftwaffe:

He-112 (came close to being in Luftwaffe service anyway and the RAF thought it actually was)

He-100 (with a sensible cooling system)

He-70 (say the Luftwaffe was using them as a Battle-style light bomber)

Curtiss Hawk (RAF had some from the French order but only used them for training)

Reggiane Re.2000 (for the RAF: Britain actually tried to buy some pre-war  )

Vultee Vanguard (Britain is more desperate for anything it can get)

The He 70 as a light bomber for the BoB isn't really feasible, given that by that time the Luftwaffe ones were fairly clapped out and were never very popular with their crews anyway - only the Spanish had any real liking for the type.

Now there's an idea - a Spanish brigade fighting with the Germans in the Battle, much like the Italians but using German equipment.  One being shot down by a pilot named Drake would be quite fitting.  Have to be flying a Spitfire, naturally.  Preferably one armed with cannon!

Give Germany a four-engined bomber. They had two credible real-world prototypes: the Ju89 and the Do19.

Give Germany an operational aircraft carrier, launching Stukas escorted by Bf-109Ts against the British coast from unexpected directions.

Beat me to it with the Spanish contingent!  

I know that in real life the Luftwaffe He70s were clapped out, but if the Luftwaffe high command had been committed to the single-engined light bomber concept in the way that the RAF were, then they'd have continued to build them, perhaps in improved versions, and the crews' misgivings would have been ignored.

Who was it had the radial-engined He70? Hungary?

They were used as a point defence force for RAF Burtonwood, just west of the M62 Service area these days, but never got into any action AFAIK. Some flew with RAF camo and roundels on top and Armee de l'Air silver and roundels underneath! I built one like that from the ancient Revell kit years ago, a real world Whiff.
