Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I could have sworn it was black just a while ago...........  ;)

I was expecting to stay All-Black, Kiwi theme maybe???  I like the new additions though.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Thank you folks.
So next, hopefully today I'll start the decals, not too many national or unit markings, but a lot of stencils on the airframe. Especially so with these late marks in the overall silver.

Stay with me.

Ian.

OK so the decals happened late yesterday, and this afternoon I did this to them

This is 'Pro Modeller (or Flory) wash. A simple liquid clay that you slosh on your poor unsuspecting pride'n joy, leave for 45 mins, then wipe off with a damp lint-free cloth and/or cotton buds.

A great weathering tool for this sort of plain overall paint scheme in my opinion .   So who guessed post-war French for the colour scheme ??

Not me, that's for sure ! Looks great Ian. The clay for weathering is a great idea and it really does add to the look of this shiny beast ! Great stuff.

I didn't guess it was post war French either ;D the green trim put me Off :o
I kept thinking USN, but then it would have needed yellow wings.
Nice to see you back on the dark side

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

I use simple black India ink/Tusche for washing. This stuff looks more solid, but I can imagine that it is easy to handle. Effect looks very good.

On finals now...

Next time you see this wee thing, it'll be all done. Just the lower rudder piece to spray and 'weld' in to place, then a light coat of Humbrol Satin Cote (sic) and finally add the canopy, windshield and access door.

Thanks for looking and/or commenting.

Stay tuned.
