Maybe since the spinner has the hole in it I can just leave it to the viewers imagination ?

Still sorting through how to finish this one off....large fuel tanks > Small fuel tanks ? No fuel tanks ? Large bombs ? Sm....you get the idea. Prob add a pair of guns to each wing tho, give it some offence.

I thought the same, until I was told recently that only from the F onward did the 109 have working engine mounted cannons. They'd been tried with the B and C, but were plagued by thermal and vibration problems, leading to the removal of most engine-mounted machine guns and cannons. The D and E never had them (a projected sub-variant of the Emil was supposed to get them, but these were never built).

To be totally pedantic about it, the E-2 variant did have an engine mounted MGFF cannon, but it was unreliable and the E-2 was only built in limited numbers. I can't find any mention of it but it makes sense that it was cheaper to keep the spinners with the hole in the middle for the E-2's cannon in production than to re-tool a 'hole-less' spinner for the later Es.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

There you go. So it'll have a holey spinner and might or mightn't have a cannon

Thank you Sir ! Of course the lack of proper lighting and the use of the flash kinda wrecks the pic, but you guys get the idea.
