All the gang so far....Gladiator, Siskin, Peashooter, Spitfire and Hurricane.

The rigging mostly done on the P-26.

Interesting how different people build in different ways.  I leave the rigging right until the end.  I've never thought to do it before the paint.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

What did you use for the rigging Capt ?

It's just black thread. I drill holes and feed it through, and then pull it tight and glue in place. Not a great representation but it adds to the overall look ! I have some of that stretch nylon from WEM somewhere, I think it's ship rigging, but no idea where I put it....

Might want to try some braided fishing line. Less chance of it going fuzzy.

How about - for the B-17 - you buy a quartet of Academy early P-40s (they're plentiful and cheap over here) and use the noses for the Fort? Retain the nose guns in at least two of the cowls.

lol there I was thinking it was my big idea, and it's already been suggested here twice ! I think forward firing guns would be a great defence for head on attacks.

So one or the other, the Spit or the Hurri is going to be a twin. Anybody ?

Started on the Comet last night whilst watching tele. Cut down the wing engine mounts, as this one will have a single Kestrel in the nose. Probably add the prop from a Fury biplane and a canopy from the extra bits in the Gladiator kit.

Essentially a land-based http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,36086.msg578615.html#msg578615.

Was thinking of something similar only the other day - maybe for next year (definitely not this GB though).
