New project using the spare parts box , main body is turret from a 1/24 scale R/C Abrams tank will add various bits and pieces but the scale I will be basing it on will be 1/35
Progress so far:

Filled in the hole where the barrel was with plastic card and covered up the bottom , stripped off a few bits

Added and IR probe from an 1/35 AH 60L DAP KIT , added cupola and gun turret from 1/35 M113 kit , mantlet from a 1/72 Matilda , filled in the original cupola cavity with a medicine cup an covered up another cavity wit ha bit from a HEMTT kit

Well it'll never run out of fuel then, though I'd like to see the tanker....

Progress so far added some more greeblies : hellfire rocketssome armour plating , grills and bits n bobs , undercoated now to stare at it for a bit

Was quite happy how the back end came out used a gas cannister from a plastic army men set split in 2 and 2 tank wheels from the M1113 kit , the M113 kit has been a great source of bits that keeps on giving lol

Sitting & staring is IMO a very important part of scratchbuilding.

It's definitely paying off here.  Going well.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Looking good ! The extra bits really add to it and it's nice to see a shot of what's going on underneath.

Sort of finished tonite , I may do a diorama so you can see it actually hovering and I have my eye on some cool sci fi figures ( http://industriamechanika.com/shop/1-35-scale/55-135-pawn-brigade.html )
Camo pattern based on Swedish M80 style , I was pleased how it came out , decals from a WW2 6X6 water truck kit and Bren carrier kit

Very cool! I love that camo scheme - very fitting

That's a neat looking beast

Captain Canada

Yes the camo looks great ! Love the pattern and colours. Neat idea for spare parts for sure ! The figures would be a great addition and would really add to the finished model.
