- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

...I pooped out to get some bits and pieces...

I don't know what you mean  , just checked the spelling and it seems OK to me  .

Anyway, took the model to Telford and back.  This morning said hello to my ancient cube of Revell-based acrylic satin stuff (varnish I guess, made from Revell acryic matt varnish mixed with Klear), gave it a good stir, diluted it a bit more and applied it to the Comet.  A much better finish.  Not my best whif but as far as I'm concerned it is completed.

And VERY good it looks too!

The five Comet Whiffs on the SIG stand made a terrific mini-scene in their own right, and K5084 stood out amongst them.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Flattery will get you everywhere, Kit, but which K5084?

I meant the newest one, from the PRU.

I like what you've done with this. Looks great!
It takes only one drink to get me drunk. The trouble is, I can't remember if it's the thirteenth or the fourteenth.

Looks good here, even better on the stand
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

That looks excellent - a great result from a primitive kit.
