It's only fair really.  Of the three attempts for this GB I thought it was the most recent kit, but now, one is a couple of years younger (still 1979 though!).

One of the 'new' Airfix 109s ? I was looking at mine and 2 are new, and highly detailed, the other is just a pretty box with some crappy old plastic  :thumbsup:

Basic paint job on the interior, masking tape seat belts added, fuselage/engine cover/intake all mated up.  Tailplane added.  Once dry the wings will be attached. some prepainting of the undercarriage and wheel bays to be done.  Pics to follow.

Wings attached to the Emil.  Or more correctly the Emilio.

Might be able to squeeze in a control column and the main undercarriage legs in the morning.  Away with work for a day and a half after that, and again for a week from Friday evening so no scope at all for more during that period.

Basic assembly has been done - fuselage, wings, tailplane, tailwheel, PSR phase 1 done (hoping there's no more) and the main u/c done.

As with the Comet and Hurricane pics will follow when the painting starts.
