I'm curious what kind of USAF camouflage schemes existed post Vietnam for the F-4E/G

Yes, I actually am: I was thinking of a couple of art-ideas revolving around

• F-106A Delta Dart (with gunpack) in Gray (Hill?), SEA, and Euro 1 Camo: They all look like they'd rock
  
• USN F-4B/J/N/S in Gray (Hill) Camo: Looks like it'd go well with overwater operations (blends in with water, clouds, and sky)
  
• Navalized F-4E in Gray (Hill Camo): The Navy would have been awesome with an F-4E

A word of caution. All the camouflage schemes you have listed above are USAF schemes. The USN did overall grey schemes on its F-4's and F-14's but I suppose it all depends on how your making a whiff, just the aircraft type in a different service or in both a different service with a different camouflage scheme.

Well, it's a work of fiction -- I think they're cool looking schemes.

Admittedly, the UN had a cool North Atlantic WW2 camo...
