In for 3 Great Halls in beautiful Telford the SMW 015 takes place again.
Who among you will be the site?
I'm with 3 people from our Berlin Club MSC Hans Grade suburb from 6:11 already.
And would appreciate some time here to get to know personall.

Yup as Hobbes says you will find us on one of those two tables and in a few other places, but the What if stand is probably the best place to start.

Already booked, accommodation sorted, expenses and spending money set (in fact, saved enough so that next year's expenses are paid plus I've half the spending money!)

Don't need to think of where to go for the evening meals. I'll be going to the same place I always go to - the Ramna Balti House in Shrewsbury. For my money, it's one of the best in the country.

I will be in attendance, I don't know if itll be one or both days, My father in law is unlikely to be up this year due to health problems, so I may be able to do the whole ting In one day on a diet of mini rolls and coffee

but ill swing round the stand 1st as ill be bringing the traditional offering to the wise ones of Whiff of mini rolls and Jaffa cakes

Accommodation booked (The International) for Friday and Saturday, loking forward to getting back with all you guys.
The Chinese for Friday night is my preference.

Looking forward to meet you all in person times, we are in the Holliday Inn housed and be in Beaf eater dinner for friday, and see the other day times, possibly again with the Asian in a neighboring town, but do not know how is known.

Its a Chinese buffet in the town centre with a fixed price which makes things easy as you can just go and refill you plate as try out the different dishes till you have had enough

Unfortunately I will only be day tripping on the Saturday to SMW this year I have other responsibilities now which means a weekend away is out of the question which is a shame, but needs must. Even worse i'll have to get off at a reasonable time too to get back home, so that's going to be a very different SMW for me.

Hopefully the rest of gang can keep the Project Cancelled SIG stand going with my limited participation this year, still looking forward to catching up with everybody, see what's been built and see what's new. With the tighter schedule i'll have to sort out a list of what I really want kit, tools, and reference wise so I know where I need to go and get what I can.

Well this has become the 'almost' official What If SIG meeting on the Friday night over the last few years.
If I remember correctly it is the Dragons Den. The exact location I can not remember, which is strange as the Chinese beer is not that strong. However it is only a few hundred yards from the International Centre.
However it is perfectly reasonable, and as long as a certain member of the SIG is in disguise we might still be allowed in. This is due to the fact that a few years back he almost ate them into bankruptcy!!!!!!!! (Name of the ~~guilty~~ innocent party hidden for reasons of personal safety, i.e. mine)

Who organized the booking for it last year? and are you willing to do it again this year? Please step up to the plate.

I may not be able to be at Telford this year I'm afraid, although it's just possible I could make it on a 'day visit' basis.

It all depends how Mrs_PR19 progresses from her recent health problems and how she feels about me being 2.5 hrs. away if she needs me.

O: K Dan is of course understandable and in many people it is necessary to always pre-book which can cause complications such as described.
Good but knowing that there is something there, I see what our board says to the location, we were so far on Friday evening always at Beaf Eater.
That had always worked well so far.
