Special thanks to Joe for his P.1121 engraving and Geoff for giving me two beautiful P.1121 models. I think I am going to gift one to Chris Farara at Brooklands (Hawker Archive) as a thank you for his assistance on my book, and the other will accompany me to New Zealand.

Chris Farara was very pleased to receive Geoff's P.1121. He says that David Hassard (Kingston Aviation Centenary Project) has a collection of 1/72 scale models of Hawker aircraft he uses and the P.1121 will fit in perfectly.

Glad he liked it, although perhaps we should mention the other Hawker projects that have been built by the SIG over the years ?

The "V Bomber" on Keigthley stand was by Eddy and has been found a good home in a museum as it was a proposed variant of the old bat.

Really? What was the advantage of the two tail fins?

Dammed if I know.

Captain Canada

Love the sci-fi stuff, especially that tug-boat space thing. Very cool.

Possibly a smaller radar return?....or possibly just a drawing office game.

Well another great show and it was thoroughly enjoyable if tiring.

Great to meet up with everyone again and in my view it was probably one of our best ever displays. The stand wasn't to crowded, it was just right  Well done lads.

Lenny and Kit were both well deserved winners of Colin's prize, so congratulations to them and thank you Colin. Lenny's Eagle transporter certainly got a lot of attention and questions. I still don't understand what the fuss over the TV show was about

Finally I'd like to thank the centre cleaning staff who were oh so helpful after the Shiraz bottle exploded  Also thanks lads for not mentioning it....too much  ;D

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Exploded, EXPLODED, EXPLODED.

Now come on Chris tell the true version of the incident.

Great show - and it was good to meet some of you guys. You put on a superb display - well done
Farnborough seemed to have become afflicted with whiffery:

PR19_Kit

I suggested that we co-opt the ENTIRE Farnborough Branch on the strength of their stand, some superb stuff there.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model
