Two wheels good, four wheels bad.
Three wheels top fun as long as one is directly behind the other.

how about 8 wheels plus ?

zenrat

Two times four so double plus bad?
Or, four times two means quadragood.

It probably depends on how the wheels are arranged.

I'm ticketed to drive one of them.  Although they're more likely to be diesel than steam these days.

So if you REALLY don't like a model you've built it's KERRRRUNCCCCH time?  ;D ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I've never disliked a model that much.  But back when I was driving rollers I did once take an old TV to work just so I could run it over.

I put one on it's side once.  I was rolling the top of an embankment and while reversing put a wheel a little too close to the edge.  Everything went into slow motion and then it was on it's side at the bottom of the batter.  The only injury was a cut hand from broken glass.  I buckled the ROPS so it wasn't a cheap insurance claim.  It was OK though, it was a rental... ;D

It's part of the model which will be more of an ensemble piece . Which may involve a tank , crane , traction engine to support poor Eeyore.

zenrat

My mind is boggling.

Added the wheels and the big gun and started on the tow vehicles.  My mistake it's a ploughing engine but I think it will do fine as extra haulage.

zenrat

Strangest looking donkey.  Does it fire thistles?
IIRC a ploughing engine didn't tow the plough up and down the field but had a winch which did the job?

Inspired by the cross channel guns  Winnie and Pooh.

It has a big drum winch underneath .  But I reckon it has enough oomph for conventional towing in an emergency.

zenrat

Thanks for that link TC.
Firing Pooh into France eh - something else I didn't know was done!

I love traction engines.  Many is the time i'd be riding my motorsickle through the lanes of Kent or Sussex on a balmy summers day (14 degrees and a light drizzle) and upon getting to the head of a massive queue of fuming drivers would find a traction engine chugging along.  Sometimes, to add insult to injury they would be towing a caravan.

They are impressive beasts . I'm surprised I've never come across anything they did in WW2
