It looks Dornier ish . My first, reaction to the photo was what has he done to that dornier...

zenrat

Good.  And it'll look even more Dornierish when I add Do 217 vertical tails.
Tricycle undercarriage should change the look slightly.

Stage 2 PSR finished and wings glued on.  Some minor fillering will be needed.

Wings and tails in place.  Rudders not yet attached.  My thinking its that as a torpedo bomber it'll be coming in low over water so the gunner needs a good clear all round field of fire in the upper hemisphere.
The 70's guys are checking it out...

Now is it upside down or is it a B&V design ?????  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Captain Canada

The 70s guys dig it ! Looks funny but it makes sense.

I had a weigh in today.
It took 3 fishing weights in the nose and 2 in each engine to stop tail sitting.
Now that's done painting will proceed.

I lied.  Before painting proceeds I decided to make her front leg.
Much cutting of plastic and bending of jumbo paperclip later;

I really like paper clips for this sort of thing - makes for a light, yet immensely strong basis for whatever you're using it as an armature for.
Trying to get them straight can be a bit of a mission, though...

Sewing pins can be useful in much the same way.

That's coming along really well, Fred.

Who are the " '70's Guys"?

These are jumbo paperclips.  About 3 inches long with 1.2mm diameter wire.  Much better than styrene rod for anything structural as you point out.

The 70's guys are elhiem figures 1970's style teen/twentys males.  They are gaming figures but are 1/72 and I find them very hard to resist.  I like their humourous style.

Yes, I recognize them now... as you say, they have some interesting stuff and it's cheap too.

Their Chopper Pilots are moving up my 'Get' list as we speak...

And when I said "Immensely", I really meant "An insane amount of overkill for Modelling purposes"...    ;D

zenrat

Overkill maybe, but easy to cut and bend.
The elhiem chopper pilots are very good and a few have found seats piloting my builds.
