No idea what happened here, it's my usual Xtracolour but it went on awful thin :banghead:

Anyway, after a bit of a struggle (work, life parents hospital etc) I've finally glued the floats on
And started some camouflage as suggested by the Wooksta!
Still not sure about when and were or even what Sqn. But I'm sure I'll think of something
Pictures, such as they are...

And,

Comments, suggestions etc. gratefully received. (And ignored at will ;D)

Keith
The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

Captain Canada

Looking good ! Love the colour combo.

The Wooksta!

Keith, it may help with a goad coat of primer - Halfords grey plastic primer is ideal.

Lovely! Maybe another machine that was based on the Faroe Islands...?  ;)

If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

That's cool Robert. I had no idea. It would certainly look good finished that way and I'm keeping that in mind if I do another floater !

Still undecided about final user, and will need to adjust the back story
When I've made my mind up :o
But it's at least got roundels on.

That's looking WELL good, an impressive stance to it.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

Fred

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Somethings just Arnt ment to be :banghead:
The Spitfire is almost finished, the back story is  written down ready to copy paste and it just needs a coat of Matt varnish. So I invest in a spray can of Humbrol Acrylic varnish and.....

This happens.
I give up.  :-\ :-\
Dunno if I'll finish it,  the modelling mojo has gone awol
Maybe next year.

Aaagghhhhhhhh, the dreaded 'White Out'! I thought Humbrol had fixed all that a while back.  :banghead: :banghead:

The aircraft was coming along nicely too.

And it was looking so good!!!!

I'd be sending some of these pics to Humbrol to see what they say. They can't fix their product if they don't know about it.
