As a side note I have just preposed an F-111 STGB on another website. I do love this beasty an really enjoys seeing it being built!

It's a PITA trickyrich, the cockpit and nose being the hardest problems with this build while the interior of the nose and weapons bay is the more difficult parts for the F-111K I am also building.

yes after finding this thread i started looking up the B, not the easiest of aircraft to find detailed info on, even my vast library is pretty scarce on info on this aircraft!

There was a conversion kit in 1/48th floating around foe a while, was very tempting...still is sort of!

But it's great to see you're having a go.
