Freightdog862

Hi everyone,

With various messages going back and forth about the official What-If competition category at Telford, I was reminded that a few years ago I gave an unofficial prize limited to the What-If table. Things at Freightdog are changing a bit once in the next few weeks, as a result activity and show attendance is likely to be less in 2016, although I'm sure I will still trade next year at Telford its likely to be a smaller affair, so I'd like to mark this year with the very unofficial 'Freightdog Best on SIG table' prize.

Whatever is on the table will be eligible, it doesn't have to be built with Freightdog parts. There will be two equal prizes, one for best build, and one for best concept, in order to not exclude modellers who built to a lesser standard, but no doubt have more fun doing it.

Judging will take place on Sunday afternoon jointly by myself and Mike McEvoy, a master modeller when it comes down to enjoying this wonderful hobby.

So I look forward to seeing you all next weekend, I will have a few new and re-issued items on sale that might take your fancy, some of which I have not announced yet.

My thanks to our Glorious Leader for giving the OK for this award.

Thanks.

What an excellent, not to say generous, idea Colin.

Thanks very much for your continued support of our own particular genre of modelling.

What a generous and most gentlemanly offer! Thank you for you ongoing work in equipping our flights of imagination (and your help in our participation in the royal and ancient pastime of JMN boggling)

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
