As November has come, my brother asked me what I would like for Christmas, and I have answered: Moskalyev SAM-13 1/72 from Unicraft, see
http://www.unicraft.biz/on/sam13/sam13.htm
My goal (for 2016) is not to build the 1938-designed push-pull fighter (flown in 1940) but a 1939 asymmetric utility derivative, pusher (unbuilt up to now):

Seeing the parts with separate halves of tailplane, I consider a more asymmetric version:

What to do with the tractive spinner?
Ahem: with the single pusher propeller, there is a big torque requiring counter-action. Here we (will) go:

Micro-Mir do a SAM 13 as well. Injection moulded. Hoping to get one at Telford

The little parcel has arrived. But I will wait Xmas day to open it. <_<

Crikey you've got some patience :o
Christmas is miles away.
I'd have itchy fingers by the end of the week ;D

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

I have opened the parcel, and I am very glad, building may start next week...

That's one ugly plane. Now to make it stranger. Go it it!  :drink:
Whatever.

Tophe

Thanks. Building start is scheduled for the forthcoming weekend.

One of my passion was to transform "ugly planes" into beauties... (Goblin, GeeBee, Corsair A-7, etc.) I'd be glad to do the same with this one, but this is not guaranteed... :-\ ;D

Here are the parts I am going to use (I will not use cockpit parts nor undercarriage):
