BRIANWALKER01

Hi my names Brian,

I started my project a few months ago and have finally got it ready for painting. I slowed up a little as I'm getting old now. I hope to have it finished in 2 months. I have the Australian Design Museum coming to take a look at it in the next few weeks as they would like to put it in the museum. I would have loved to keep it but unfortunately my wife said it's to big to hang from the dining room ceiling.

The wing span of the CA-23 was between 31ft-33ft as they would sometimes change the span on test flights if needed.

When I got the drawings off the designer I also got the blueprints which included the insulation of the wings.

Please find attached the most recent pictures of my project.

I remember seeing the work in progress pics Brian, I'm glad your getting close to the finish line.  It looks wonderful.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Brian , thats incredible.  what an amazing effort - thats real scale modelling right there.

did u work for the GAF in a former life?...sure looks like it.

that would have been an incredible testament to Australian design and aviation, if it had gone ahead.  yr model has to go some way to demonstrating that!

I dont know if the next volume of Keith Megg's work on the CAC will publish but i think its meant to cover this design, isnt it?  Might be nice for the volume to have more than line drawings of the design....hint.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
