Put your finished builds up here. Maximum of 3 pictures per model and please can you keep your comments to the models build thread. It will save the Moderators from moving them  ;D

I'll unpin this on 2nd Jan when the GB opens so that Dizzy can post his first build  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Right it's 2nd Jan in some parts of the world - not Germany however  - so here you go

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

CASTLE AIR SERVICES MOSQUITO (MI6)1947

At the end of WW2 dozens of airlines set up using converted ex RAF aircraft carrying passengers and freight and doing survey work
Castle air services was no exception but made a name for itself for the wrong reasons.................. despite having good ex RAF personnel it soon gained a reputation for its aircraft getting lost over the Baltic and Europe, the civil aviation authorities disliked the planes colours as they did not conform to standards  such as light registration lettering on dark aircraft or vice- versa and part of the way through their service the undersides of the planes were repainted and the reg numbers were not re applied

The airline often hired planes out to a company called universal export and despite the need for large cargo aircraft during the berlin airlift the planes often flew in and out of berlin getting lost on the way home!
Then in 1999 under the 50 year reporting rule information came out.......... despite being ex mosquito FBIV planes they were fitted with cameras and a variety of aerials for listening in on other nations business,CAS was a cover for MI6 to fly in and out of eastern block areas at night and listen in

The civilian registration meant if a plane was forced to head for Swedish airspace when outrunning angry Yak 9s there was no diplomatic incident

Remember, if the reality police ask you haven't seen us in ages!
When does "old enough to know better" kick in?
