Been revisiting some of my favourite of the Goon Shows recently, guaranteed to cheer me up at the worst of times. One prompted a thought, an idea for something both unusual and Cold War...."The Jet-Propelled Guided NAAFI". Rockall to Malaya in seven seconds ;D.

A small inspiration:

Looks great, IMHO - a prop a movie (maybe "Torn Curtian"?)

The other way around was possible, too:

A Czech Tu-104. This plane had only the left side painted in full Alitalia colours for a movie, with false registration I-DIWN applied. It was in fact OK-NDF.

May do a MiG-23PD Faithless for the GB. My track record for completing builds is not great though.

Having just got the kit yesterday, it occurs that I could do a second non-VTOL, twin-engine Faithless variant with a spare Su-15 front end and a KP MiG-19 plus spares!

Reading the Gunston/Gordon book on the MiG 21 I note their assertion that the Soviets couldn't believe their luck when the SR177 was cancelled.  This got me thinking about my next MiG 21 whiff - large delta wing with a T tail and a rocket booster...

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Right lads not to long to go. Build finishes on 3rd April
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Hmm, time for another entry!

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Holidays! Gotta search some eggs, too...

Folks, the GB finishes on the 3rd of April in just over ONE WEEK.

If you want to ask for an extension, now would be the time.

I'm putting in a formal apology. My brain wrote a lot of cheques my hands couldn't cash. I've really tried to get going on some kits but just can't break through some powerful subconscious block in place at the moment. Same thing happened 29 years ago with my art and is still in place :banghead:. Really trying to overcome this.

Might find something small and simple and work my way back up. Who'd be me????

I don't think my project will get done in a week H, maybe not even in two weeks.  How much of an extension would we get ?
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

I could surely go with an extension. I was planning on getting lots done this weekend but we had an unplanned visit from my University kid and the associated visits/ parties/ easter Dinner

Okay folks, pleas have been considered, arguments tested, bribes collected and threats noted, and the moderators have solemly and wearily, with much rolling of eyes and shaking of heads, agreed to an extension of two weeks. The new finish date will be midnight on Sunday 17th of April. You're welcome.
