Straight out the box ?   If the lady to be had been a Pom would it have come from External Affairs ?  Long time since I got mine but I think it came with the church ? Down the Town Hall if registrar I suppose ? As I said 42 years ago and "she" probably organised it

Had a little shopping trip to Wonderland models today. Came home with a few items too....

Brass rod. Not sure of the size, I just know that it will fit inside the TSR2 bogie as I had one with me to check the size.

Personally I'd scrap it and scratch build one yourself.

A small package of bits and bobs from a mate, including a Fujimi Spitfire prop and bubble canopy (handy for the Fujimi Spit I got for a quid at Telford) and a pair of Bristol Mercury engines fully assembled with sand filters.  They're going on an assembled Frog/Novo Blenheim If for a Habbaniya aircraft.

My LHS is also holding a Novo Fokker "Southern Cross" that's likely to be an impressed RAF machine in the Middle East and I'm tempted with a Bristol Bombay for duties in Iraq also...

Today arrived some armour additions to the Honduras army, in the shape of a pair of 1/72nd scale Weisel 1 MK 20's. This is the S model 2 in a box kit, and is a quick build. They are quite good detail wise, and the only quick build I can see about them is the tracks and wheels as they are moulded as one. To me a good thing as they are quite tiny. Both are identical, with a 20 mm cannon in the turret, but one might get armed differently to the other. I just need a big enough transport helicopter for them to be transported inside, and slap some Honduras markings on it. I may just steal either a CH-47 or CH-53 off the U.S Marines for that purpose.

Thanks everyone! Here in NZ you get them at the local Courthouse from a Registrar...which I am, so I had to get a workmate to do it! The big day is 23 April

Second that. It's HUGE, and the 1:72 Revell kit is very good.

Wouldn't they be using the BMD or BMD2 then if they can get the Halo ?  (Also available from S-Model  )
