I've been thinking about Ornithopters and Fokker Monoplane wings (in lieu of Etrich Taube) will be ideal.
As for the BE 2c I saw a pic recently of one in a black & white chequered pattern which made me think of doing on in the big Red & White checks used on Croatian MiG 21s.

He would have had to get it from Hannants, as that's all AiM deals with these days

Yesterday arrived an order that arrived pretty darn quick considering the time of year. 1 BMP-3 with (photo-etch) ERA armour, T-72 BA, has 2 turret choices, both in 1/72nd scale and by Model collect. I have found a U.K supplier of these its at reasonable money so will be buying from them instead of direct or from Lucky model. Also from the same online store, Revel Biber and Dingo 1, been looking at these for a while, and until now all were around the 20 quid mark, this was £14, so slapped it on the order with the russian stuff. The Cartel have got a lot of hardware now, which reminds me I need to photograph what I have built, and put it on here. Almost forgot, not a kit but an addition to my book stash, Modern Warfare, Soviet cold war weaponry: Tanks and armoured vehicles. This book very nearly covers all the main vehicles used by the Soviet/Russian army, as it includes modern/newer pictures of vehicles that were and are still used by the Soviets/Russians and also some of the countries that bought and used said vehicles too. I would also like a book on the more modern stuff too, as there is a lot of that stuff out there too.

Not quite as cheap as Dizzy's score, but yesterday my final online purchase of the year arrived: a 1/144 Lindberg B-1 Bomber. Have always wanted one in this scale and I was lucky to get this for NZ$15 plus postage. It's not the B-1A I was hoping for (as far as I can tell) but it should do fine.

The Wooksta!

Snaffled on ebay:
3 Airfix mk Ia Spitfires, an Airfix ragwing Hurricane, a new tool Airfix Bf 109E and a new tool Airfix He 111P.  All bagged for the princely sum of 20 notes post free.  The 109 is surplus and the 111 will become a Spanish one in Luftwaffe colours with RAF roundels.

Club neet and I was gifted an Airfix Spitfire mk IXc.

The SM82 is a surprisingly big model.  A good buy.

Sad. As a result of the owner retiring ?

The SM-82 is a nice kit
