From the Big H.

Kinetic 1/72 F-16I Sufa (Now where is that Monogram F-16XL?)

Montex mask set for the Special Hobby Gnat F1 X2. An interesting set as it gives canopy masks for two aircraft plus an extra windscreen mask, but only enough wheel masks for one model. That is why I needed two sets.

Now I correct Myself , as the Montex mask set does give enough for two aircraft. It just depends how you use them.

The masks give one set for the wheels and one for the tyres. So with carefull painting you can do two separate aircraft.

Part One of my Aussie Centurion tank project arrived yesterday: a 14ml tinlet of Mouse Armour Paint Olive Drab Lustreless 1966-2011 and a Firestorm Models replacement mantlet cover in resin.

Now if only the kit itself would hurry up and get here!

The Wooksta!

Recent acquisitions:

From Bungle's sale:
Aeroclub Venom FB1 and FB4
Pegasus Spitfire prototype (naturally...)
Pegasus Defiant target tug (although it's not likely to be a target tug, more likely some kind of radar equipped nightfighter)

From Uncle Frank:
Several of the new AZ/KP Spitfire Ib/IIb/Vb kits
Some Aeroclub Spitfire bits

Yet another Mig-21 arrived today, this one also an unknown to me model company. Toga this one is made by, German kit but molded in the Ukraine. I is the Mig-21 UM and looks a lot like the Eastern Express/Condor one I built a while ago. It will of course get a good whiffing, The kit is very basic, and has lots of flash on the opaque canopies, so it will have faulty air-con, and a steamed up canopy when done . Not sure what this one will get done to it as yet, but after having a look at a pair of lightning wings and putting them up to an Academy  Mig-21 C, they look right and won't need much to get them to fit right. I think, I will look for a pair of largeish delta wings or scratch build some and make it a pure delta this one, we shall see.

Today arrived the stuff I bought from Nick, a Heller Humbrol Ouragan, probably get turbo prop treatment like my other one, and the ESCI Kamov Hokum, This could either get made in to a fixed winged aircraft, or be a helo for the Cartel. Oh, and another MIG-21, this time a Kopro Mig-21 MF.

Another 1/72 Revell Avro Shackleton Mk3.
I'm thinking of a shoulder mounted wing cargo transporter.

The slow boat from Korea finally docked!

This is a neat kit. Aluminium barrels, springs for suspension, rubber rims...this will be fun!

Centurion looks nice if a tad complicated. Best of luck with it

First whatiff purchase in a while - local model club meet today and someone had a Porco Rosso Curtiss R3C for sale what I did snap up. It will go with the Porco Savoia that I built. 1/72 of course (as if there is any other scale!  ;D)

Not mine, but this is the kit:

You'll enjoy building it - they go together well.  Decals on mine were a bit thin so I masked and painted the yellow stripes.
Pilot figure is a nice touch.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Good one, me!  :banghead:

Anyway, yeah, if the Savoia is anything to go by, it will be a magical build. Best kit I ever put together, that one.
