Alistair, was there a husband and wife pair flogging off a load of AZ Spitfires, amongst other kits?

So you're still into Spitfires then Lee?  I may have one or two for you when it comes to Telford.  Will let you know what's available after I've had a stock check closer to the time.

So, that's 6 x PR19's in a single hit! :o

I got ten of the Airfix 72nd kit when it came out in 2009.  Not sure how many I've picked up in a single day since.  Some of the strip mining of the Telford stalls would have netted similar numbers.

Dave, that is most charitable.  Is there anything you're looking for in order for a hostage swap?

Having gone through the posts in the thread, I think I've accumulated 67 Plan items - ie complete kits of Spitfires/Seafires/Spitefuls etc.  However, I didn't list some and the Huddersfield haul was quite extensive, so that is a conservative estimate on the low side and it doesn't include all the conversion parts that I've also acquired either.  And there's at least 6 Aeroclub vacform fuselages in with the conversion bits.

Looked at some cabinets a few weeks back.  Nice glass fronts, shelves, cabinet at the base.  Need to check the sizes and then I'll nab them.

Said cabinets were purchased last week and are now installed in me living room.  ;D  And very nice they are too!

No I don't think so, Lee, I've had plenty from you in the past.

Major haul (for me).  Was in San Francisco for work and found one of my favorite hobby stores, Ace Hardware in Berkeley is downsizing to a new location and will be losing lots of shelf space. Their basement has been a treasure trove of old kits for decades.  Very sad. If you are in the Bay area starting in May 2016 all sale kits (about half their huge and rare stash) will be 50% off.  Huge bargains and unique kits to be had.

All 1/72 scale
Airfix C-130E
KP (Czech) Mil Mi-4
AMT Black Widow
Novo Hotspur
Hasegawa F-4K Phantom
Airfix Vertrol 107.  Box is Pre C-46 designation I suppose.
Airfix F-84F

Sold a few kits at Perth, didn't buy any kits! :-)

Bought a Lift Here decal sheet for Yugoslav aircraft in foreign markings. SOKO Galebs and Jastreb and Lasta in Zaire, Zambia, Libyan and Iraqi markings.

From Milton Keynes: Airfix Horsa (for a real world build) and an Airfix Mirage/MiG-15 Dogfight Double - definitely for whiffing!  Build several of the old school Airfix MiG-15s in the dim and distant but never built any Mirage of any kind before.

Nothing at all on my part at the MK Show, but the amount of box toting traffic passing our stand was considerable. Not to mention the ever increasing pile of boxes that were filling up the space behind our stand!

I'm expecting a large entry here from Hank 'Army of One' later in the week.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
