Thought that I made a bargain with a reasonbly priced Hasegawa 1:72 Wirbelwind tank from evilbay, but it turned out that the Flak turret was completely missing (bag with sprues nicely sliced open...). The rest was/is complete, though, and the seller refunded almost 50% of what I paid for the kit.
But now I have "only" a Panzer IV... maybe I turn it into a whiffy late war variant, with a new, sloped glacis plate and a different turret.

I had one expected and one unexpected package waiting for me yesterday.

1/72 Mach 2 Vickers Viscount. Would love to do something like an Australian MPA or AEW with this but I've heard Mach 2 kits can be a bit tricky and I'm pretty much only just back to modelling after 30 years or so.

1/72 Airfix Rotodyne. This was a completely unexpected gift from a friend who knows how much I love the aircraft. Makes 3 in my collection now. I have to do something with them :)

From a charity shop near me, I picked up an Airfix  Fokker troop ship, I already have one of these, but I think I paid more than 2.50 for it. The box is a bit scruffy, but the contents are all there and good. The box is dated 1979

Great find.  On ev!lbay these tend to go for insane prices, and the Fokker 27 has a lot of whiffing potential.

Cheers, both will be wiffed into Honduran airforce service, one a maritime patrol a/c armed with either sea skuas, or penguins and a cannon. The other an ELINT  bird, or just a transport.

OK, now you got me thinking about a build featuring the penguins from Madagascar...

I have to go to the LHS today to pick up glue, tape and styrene stock.  Can I do so without buying another kit?

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Correct.  Although technically I didn't buy another kit.  I bought two.
1/72 Hasegawa Sd.kfz 7 half track to be mated with a fuel tank from an Airfix AEC.
1/24 Revell Fiat 131 Rally car for the Theme Build (Italian) at the Ballarat NNL in May.  It may be rebadged as a Lada.

Looking forward to that. I have one in the stash, too (was lucky to stumble upon a cheap one on ebay, and immediately snatched it...), but with no serious plan. Maritime patrol / Middle America sounds nice.

Goldenrod.  For when one Hemi just isn't enough...
This would look good next to a Revell Challenger One.
