Well, not a kit this time, it was Tamiya shopping day...  ;D 1x 250ml Tamiya thinner bottle, 4x Tamiya colors, X-11 and 31, XF-56 and 69 and a tube of polishing compound for the a few canopies in need... Almost brought along another of Tamiya's 1/72 F-16CJ... but i resisted... and the owner of the shop said he'd keep it for me till i can go pick it up, which should happen in a week or so. ;D

The Revell Shackleton I ordered off ebay has arrived and I have it within two feet as I key this.  Am I the first here to have one?

From Lucky model for very much cheapness, 3 Hasegawa kits, all1/72nd scale, Modern U.S air to air missiles (disappointing amount of actual missiles in the kit), European air to air and air to ground missiles, which for some reason included AMRAAM's. But includes some Brimstones, so something C.O.I.N.ish will be getting those. Finally the aircraft aerospace ground equipment set, which I thought I didn't have, but I do, as it is in with my built stuff  :banghead: never mind eh.After removing said AMRAAM's from the sprues of both missile sets, I realised I have more than enough of the things already, ie; 74 to be exact, and a similar number of various marks of AIM-9's and AIM-7's. Not including what is in the 2 Skunkworks kits in the stash. Yes I need to stop buying weapons sets....Don't get me started on my Russian/Soviet stuff.

The ICM sets?  Nice aren't they.
They should take a leaf out of Hasegawa's book and make some Cold War Soviet Pilots and Ground Crew.

I went into the LHS with the sole intent of buying a 1/35 short barrel Panzer IV (glue bombed one as a kid & need to make amends - plus to me they are the epitome of the WW2 tank - plus I have read far too much Sven Hassel).  This was to be a reward to myself for surviving a week of The Boy staying with us without a tantrum, hissy fit, chucking a squinny, sulking or tears (and he also behaved).
I walked out with a Dragon 1/35 Panzer IV Ausf D.  So mission accomplished.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Yes, they are very nice kits, the newer ones anyway, as the earlier white plastic ones were a bit hit and miss. The Dragon kits are quite nice too, and I have snaffled a few of those kit over the years too.
