From a group of photos taken by my grandfather and friends at Camp Borden, Ontario during WWII while
was a Canadian Army tank instructor. I really need to rescan the negatives with my newer scanner, this is an
old scan I did back in '98.

Just a couple of kits from a few weeks back at the Huddersfield show:
Airfix 1/72 MiG-29 (from Weaver)
Hasegawa Tamago Plane HS Harrier.  Older boxing of the Harrier egg plane, with a lovely twee image of Big Ben, a Routemaster and a Highland regiment on the front.  Comes with some chicken and egg decals.  Shame there's no decals for the Union Jack scheme on the side of the box.

A few 1/72 Hobby Boss easy kits from a local discount store, Boyes in East Hull:
Spitfire Vb
Hurricane IIC
MiG-15 Bis

I picked them up to do with the girls, their first plastic kits. Daddy was going to be the bad guy with the '109, but they'd ran out so I ended it up with the MiG-15 instead.  I was looking forward to it but daughter 1A spied the lightning stripe and claimed it.  Daughter 1B claimed the Hurricane, then the Spitfire, then the Hurricane, back to the Spitfire again.....

If I get the Hurri, I'll probably do it Aussie as a camouflaged counterpart to my silver one.  If I get the Spitfire Vb, anyone got any ideas?  Brother Narses gave me a few, but mid-war is a period I find difficult to whiff.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I went to the LHS to buy styrene rod and didn't buy a model.
I must be ill.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Malta is always a good place for inspiration - either real world or for whiffy variants.

I watched Fury for the first time a couple of weeks back and instantly wanted an Easy Eight Sherman, but figured I should start simple before heading into 1/35. I recently had a refund for a computer item that didn't work for us, and I used the store credit to get my first ever armour models:

They arrived on Saturday morning - great little snap-tite kits with lovely detail and less than 20 parts apiece. Needless to say, by the time Monday night rolled around...

They look good mate especially as they are intended for wargaming. 1/100 = 15mm scale I think
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

While in Falkirk today I popped into the nearest thing that represents a model shop, Hobbycraft and bought a bottle of Tamiya  X-22 to be part of a weathering experiment.
