Mach 2 X-24A and -B, both small 'aircraft' in the same HUGE box, courtesy of JayBee's Stash Sale, thanks Jim.

Given my predeliction for long winged aircraft, these can't manage to summon up even ONE wing between them!  :o
I dare you not to put sailplane wings on them! ;D

Got that boxing too, the idea was to hang one of them under the B-52B kit I have instead of the X-15. Since then though I've got hold of a Muroc Models X-38 which will get mounted and all the other models will be displayed around the B-52B  (in 1/72 of course)
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

The next British Secret Projects is on the British Shuttle and MUSTARD so you could have the X-24 being borrowed by the British for flight testing investigations ?

Just got my Airfix Kit Starter Beagle Bassett CC1, comes in a box with a plain white lid and a standard series 2 red box, moulded in the standard current grey plastic, the markings are as per the original kit but printed better although they have left the clanger in the design with the fuselage serials having as space between the letter and the numbers. The funky part is they have reused the original instruction sheet with the old logo and the, but updated with the new logo also added and the paints converted to Humbrol numbers  ;D

Is that kit only available to Airfix club members Geoff? I wouldn't mind getting hold of at least another one of those.

What Thorvic and JayBee just said.

The lightning stripe on the decal sheet is black though, shouldn't it be RAF Blue?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

Almost none I expect.  ;D

I'll get my scanner and printer warmed up for the expected deluge of RW modellers who'll want them in blue then.  ;)

Airfix delivered my Kit Starter Beagle Basset in the post this morning

Four of them arrived here this morning. Two addressed to me, the other pair for my dad.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.
