There you go Kit, pretty sure it can be used on others with a bit of fettling

Excellent, thanks very much Geoff. It certainly does have 'other applications', just need them to get some more in stock now.

I love the way that intake door is just suspended in mid-air, I imagine all the little air molecules discussing if they should head on into the Viper's intake or just say 'Nah, can't be bovvered!' and just bypass it.  ;D ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

A Trumpeter F-16 - turns aout to be a C/D and looks like a shabby copy of the Italeri kit (even the instructions are copied) with Matchbox trenches added. Was cheap, for whiffing (potentially organ donation), so it's O.K.

I've been in dire need of making a kit purchase for a long time now. So today I made it to a LHS and found a repop of Lindburg's HP Victor in 1/96th scale. I have plenty of projects lined up and plenty of kits in the stash but if I didn't buy something new soon I was going to explode. And the Victor was 1/2 price so it was an alignment of moon and stars moment. Plus I have always thought the Victor fuselage would make a perfect 50s era space ship were everything had a pointed nose and needless streamlining. Happy day and my addiction is satisfied for a time.

Just a thought, what about using the wings and a small pod for a flying wing?

Vampire fuselage for the small pod?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Birthday present from number two son;  an Emhar  1/72   World War One Mk IV tadpole tale male tank......and a book token, that will cause an item to appear in My Library Has Grown Again  later.  Not quite sure yet what it may become, but I suspect that the Royal Marines might be operating it on a sea/land strike towards Zeebrugge......perhaps

Good choice - a "free" interpretation of the topic or based on one of the real proposals?
I've also been thinking about a wet Apache, interesting variants...

The second and third offerings would be the hardest to make so I am tempted to build the first version which was a minimal change aircraft. Not decided which to build yet.

My heart beats for the 2nd incarnation - already with the radar and w/o gun, but without the ugly belly... Have an Academy Apache in the stash, too, and it turns out to be the best conversion basis for the "cheek-less" naval AH-64 versions.
