British Aerospace rather than Convair I assume...

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Yes, to be used on the Royal Navy version of the P.1154, and most Ilkley F-4K & M's too

Short time ago I received another model  ;D

1 x 1/144 Anigrand C-5M at least that's what it says on the box though there are parts to build the B version which I will be doing.

You mean something like this?

I noticed that I had forgotten to add this one and my RN F-4B to my own thread from last year.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

What's that missile?  I recognize a guidance pod (always a good idea!), but...?

Its a Sea Dart. Usually they were ship launched anti aircraft missiles although there was a proposed version that was air launched.

Very much like that Martin, in fact it was your build that made me think about getting some for the RN P1154 and other aircraft too.

Ah, thank you. I wondered about the obvious two stage arrangement - that make sense now!

Unexpectedly won an ev!lbay auction for an 1:72 Kinetic F-16D Block 52+ for just EUR 10,-. These kits normally go for no less than EUR 20,-; quality appears faily high and the parts look promising.

The kit arrived, and for EUR 10,- it's a real bargain. Highly detailed, lots of ordnance - if you are looking for a good F-16, the Kinetic kit is worth a look, even at the standard prices.

That's a big 'ole missile to carry on an aircraft. Almost makes a Phoenix look small!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Not much bigger than a Standard ARM. I like the guidance pod in the Sparrow hardpoint, though.

Dropped into the LHS to pick up some styrene rod & strip and accidentally came home with a P-47D Razorback (something I failed to find at Expo) and an A-129 Mangusta.
Both 1/72 Tamiya.
The Thud is just something i've been looking for for a while (kept finding nothing but bubbletops) and the Mangusta was an impulse purchase when I realised how it would make a good basis for something close to Weaver's posted Rogue Trooper flyers.

Does that mean you'll have to take them back again?  :o
