I still want one used by the Hereford Gun Club on their jolly outings.

This arrived today:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281606798049?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&var=580613578394&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Two part silicon moulding rubber (kinky!) with a 1:1 mix ratio.  Looking forward to trying it out - I have a lot of Spitfire parts moulds which are well and truly knackered and need replacing due to heavy use. Perhaps a tad pricey but I'm giving it a spin anyhoo.

Then I saw this...

Well, I just had to!  My finger slipped and the button clicked buy...

I can easily see how the latter happened

Received from ebay today

1 x 1/72 Hasegawa F-4EJ KA7 boxing might make this Spanish as a whiff or Korea as r/w
1 x 1/72 Hasegawa F-4C KA4 boxing Not sure what I will do with this but will probably be r/w
1 x 1/72 CMR Avro York C1 conversion set No idea what to build, Mk1 or Mk2 and if so do I use a new Airfix Lancaster or the not quite so new Revell kit?

Pain in the donkey Customs wanted an additional £17.86 paid on the York  :banghead: which came from the US while the F-4 which came from Japan went through customs no problem

Revell 1/72 A-109 K2 Rega, to be done as one of the RNZAF's shiny new A109LUH fleet (with the addition of some resin bits by a mate and a set of OldModels Decals decals). Very pretty machines.

Doesn't the K have fixed undercarriage though?

There was only one on that auction.  However, the seller may have more and I'm not being greedy at the mo - I have four on order wirth Uncle Frank.  Not saying how many of the Sword mk XIVs are on order tho.  I think he's planning a trip to Mars on the proceeds...

It sure does, but my mate managed it with his. Mind you, he's one who scratchbuilds masters for moulds rather than copying like I do, so I may have a little work ahead of me. In 1/72 I don't expect it to be too difficult....

Scratch the above comments - won another IX on ebay and the seller had another as a BIN.  Couldn't resist it.

Just got five, yes, five, of the Special Hobby Mirage F.1 kits. Lovely little kit, and lots of extra parts and weapons for the spare parts box.

Can't wait for their two seater.

Yes, I have an illness. But as I like to tell the missus, at least I'm not drinking down at the bar.......
It takes only one drink to get me drunk. The trouble is, I can't remember if it's the thirteenth or the fourteenth.

Got hands on a relatively cheap Academy KAI T-50 Snap fit kit. Comes without landing gear, but it could become a nice conversion basis.
