I've bought an A380 to Whiff recently, I don't think I'd better allow any ideas for an AN-124 to develop as well ....

I don't think my cheap home-made shelving would cope!  :o  ;D

Oh to be whiffing again :-(

Mossie

Yeah I bought one when it first came out, it's a pretty big chunk of plastic.  It's not the largest box in my stash, but it's crammed full of sprue.  I've seen a few built up and it's pretty big with a 1/2m wingspan and has a similar footprint to the Airfix 1/72 Nimrod.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I agree about the number of sprues, it's absolutely stunning value for money. Build with everything down and open it'd be a real showstopper. The fuselage is about the size of the Tamiya 1/32 Mosquito, it really is big.

Just bought my 2nd Italeri 1/48 Grumman S-2E/G Tracker.

Both to be built as S-2G's ... sort of.

One to build as 844 as she was operationally, ca. 1983. (I'm sure I've got some photo's. Somewhere. Maybe.)

Other to be built as "What might have been"; as a RAN produced Garrett/Honeywell-engined turboprop variant in the CoastWatch/SAR role.

Yup, but there are no Home Bargains around here and the ones I went to after a trek didn't have them. I'm quite happy at a £5 each, both nice kits. Thinking Romanian for the 190 as for the Tiffie ? Done a load of wifs with the Academy kit so not sure. Mind you I might build that real world one that had a shark's mouth either just at the end of the War or immediately post War.

Weren't you just wonderin' what to do with some surplus Dominican markings?

I like you're thought here. Typhoons instead of Mustangs in the post-war Dominican AF.

I had a similar thought about Spitfires.
It takes only one drink to get me drunk. The trouble is, I can't remember if it's the thirteenth or the fourteenth.
