Picked up an Ebay win earlier

1 x 1/72 Airfix BAE Systems Hawk

That makes seven Airfix Hawk 100 series kits and one Italeri/Model Alliance kit, now I just have to build them!

Yesterday I was in Cambridgeshire for the Brampton show.
Today I was in Bolton to attend the funeral of Geoff B's (Thorvic) father.

Geoff had tipped me off that I could pass his local Home bargins branch on my way to his place via a 2 minuet detour to my usual route..............................

I left the store with 5 kits.

2 Dornier 335's
2 Heinkel 100's
and 1 Heinkel 162.

There were a few others of possible interest to me, but I held off.
Tomorrow I will visit the two local branches to me before work to see if I can strike lucky and pick up a few HH-3's
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

The Lindberg kits were never particularly accurate, but the Me 163 is completely way off - when they did the kit, they measured the Japanese Komet at Chino and the resulting kit is better use as a Japanese one.

There's nothing I'd like in the range, although I have fond memories of building the Me 163, He 100 and He 162.

Couldn't care less: they're just cheap 'Lego' for what if builds as far as I'm concerned.

Bought from BigCat Modelismo, Airfix 1/72 Spitfire F.22 and Revell 1/72 F-22A Raptor, bought on ebay a few days ago, a Emhar 1/72 FJ-4 Fury and a Revell Snap-tite F-22...
Snagged at the last moment today, also on ebay, a Revell 1/72 F-16B for the decent total of 14.50€! Since they're out of production at the moment, i thought it'd be better to get a second one for future projects.

The Revell F-22 snaptite kit was delivered on Friday, today was the F-16B.
On Saturday i ordered a few more DSI intake sets from Lonestar resin parts from Japan, and after that, went out to my LHS for some supplies, 4 Tamiya colors, a 6mm tape refill, a 180ml gray primer spray can and 2 thin hand brushes... oh, and the Airfix 1/72 Bf-109E-4 came home with me...
Also, just bought on the bay was the Tamiya 1/72 AV-8B, to use some of the decals on my Portuguese Marines' Harrier and the rest is whif fodder.
Last, but not least, directly from Caracal decals, a 1/48 Dark Vipers and a 1/72 Next generation Vipers sheet for future builds, both whif and real world.

Forget to say I got an Airfix 1/48th Sea Harrier FRS.1 from my Brother for my Birthday a couple of weeks ago, probably real world Falklands War.

Nothing for the stash as such today, but I did pick up a cheap airbrush for £6 in a discount store, as well as some neat little 'scrapers' which are really single-edge razor-blades in plastic holders at £1 for four.

Now before somebody says it, I'm sure the airbrush is indeed crappy quality, however for £6 I can afford to keep it for varnish spraying, which a) keeps the stuff away from my good airbrush and b) gets me away from using dodgy spray cans. It's an external mix type airbrush too, so there isn't even a fragile needle to clean.

Today arrived My Model collect, T-64 model 1972 in 1/72nd scale. As with the other tank kits I have, it is very well detailed, but this one has a plastic hull instead of the die cast metal one of the others I have built. This is the gold edition kit and comes with 2 different plastic gun barrels and also a turned brass one too, as well as some P.E, and rubber tracks as well as the plastic individual tracks. Also there is a sprue with 3 different turret bases, these I am sure could fit on the spare T-54/55 turrets I have, so there could be another mongrel ex soviet era tank on its way.
Cheers
