My holy grail! Picked up the Otaki 1/144 scale C-5A Galaxy today!

My local hobby shop owner bought a big collection and gave me a fair (not quiet crazy Ebay) price of $75.  The very high end of my price range, but I've wanted one for years and have a few WHIF ideas.

1/72 Two seat Harrier for scale.  Big box.

Had to open it.....mint in box.....

1/72 Jaguar for scale, and tail of a 1/144 B-29.

I'm giddy as a school girl.....

Well done Fred, it's a great kit, and most unusual to find one still unopened.

I REALLY ought to finish mine, it's been 'in build' for maybe 20 years!  :banghead:

From the SAPMA Expo (officially the SA Scale Modelling Expo) on the weekend;

1/48 Eduard Avia B.534 iv.serie (to be OoB)
1/48 Special Hobby CAC CA-13 Boomerang (updated re-release with input from the guys at Red Roo Models) (to be OoB)
1/35 Trumpeter LCM 3 Landing Craft (several concepts bubbling away)
1/35 Academy Warrior MCV (another one) (probably fairly standard as companion for 90mm version WiP)
some AusLowe truch-scale antenae & cable (1/24 - 1/25 but good for 1/35 armour)

buzzbomb & uncle les talked me into buying;
1/32 Phoenix Missiles (set of 6 from uncle les)
1/32 Sparrow Missiles (set of 8 from uncle les)

which got my brain boiling - I have a Revell 1/72 space shuttle in the stash - so I bought
2 different AusLowe truck-scale (1/24 - 1/25) transmission housings

Somewhere along the line a 1/48 space-based missile carrier/launcher is going to be born.
Has a life outside of What-If & wishes it would stop interfering!

Nice one, DZ! Which scale is it?

It's the 1/72 old Italeri mold in the Testors box, Zac. I've been thinking about the 1/48 Hobbyboss kit but the 1/72 is big enough for my display space...   :rolleyes:

Wow!  :o  I was looking for one of those years ago but now I'm kind of glad I didn't find one because I don't have the space for it!
I had an idea of having one parked with a wrapped-up part-dismantled F-117 or F-19 Stealth being dragged out of the back as they were delivered in that way.
