Not quite right - from memory the XAT-6E is a recreation made in the 1990s/early00s.

Got hands on a Marivox 1:72 Saab 105 trainer for a reasonable price. Interesting aircraft, and I already have plans for spare parts...
I have one of them 3/4 built, I like the shape of it too as it is a break from the norm. The kit was a pain to build hence it is stuffed in a box part done.
Now that I think of it, Saab 105 looks like it could supply at least the cockpit area or maybe even more, were one to build the hilariously insane Gnat Light Bomber (carrying a nuke weighing probably as much as the empty weight of the plane) referenced here:

Well I would check your sources Zak, the XAT-6E was from the war and appeared in races in 1947
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Not a certain plan for it, yet. A camouflaged Austrian Air Force machine could be nice, though, and parts from the kit might turn up elsewhere...  ;D

These are quite nice!  I got 9 separate canopies in here for $14 total.

Had to have the U2 Spyplane one.   ;)

A vintage Helller 1:72 Mirage F.1 - the original kit (#258) that comes with optional single- and two-seater front ends.
Plus a vacu canopy for the single seater version, because I already have plans for the trainer nose, grafted onto "something else"...

Received my pre-order Airfix B-17G this morning - looks to be well up to standard at first glance. One option is for 'Mah Ideel' of the 324th Bomb Squadron based at Bassingbourn, which is just up the A505 from me

I've got one somewhere but I've not been able to find it for AGES.  :banghead:

A 1/43 white metal kit of the Jaguar XJ12C in Broadspeed racer guise. My first metal kit so we'll have to see how that goes...

A wonderful looking car there, just a pity they didn't perform as well as they looked.

Who made the kit Harro?

Good stuff.

I have the SMTS Lotus 33, and both versions of the Lotus 56, and all are very well done.
