a 1/24 Airfix Harrier, for 10 euros (couldn't resist. would you?)

now, what am I going to whiff about it?
Scale-o-rama it into a 1/72 STOVL transport/heavy bomber/dropship (or a combination thereof).

Yes, I would! It's so huge... reminds me of a friend who had a love/hate affair with an 1:48 B-1B. Cool model, but where the h€ll do you leave it...? For some time it ended up vertically on a wall - until gravity took a sharp look at it.  :-\

I turned the aft nozzles, the rear rims from a Protar 1/12 Ferrari and bits of plastic and brass fasteners into lift/propulsion  engines for a made up 'space-fighter', belly turret using Gepard flakpanzer radar parts and brass tubing. 1/48 Tamiya Lancaster parts also involved. Started it in 1988-89 still and still have the bits floating about, guess I should put it all back together, and finally figure out a landing gear
;D  :banghead:

I had a birthday.
Got an Airfix Shack and a Lego Yellow Submarine.
Thinking about Yellow Submarine inspired aircraft schemes.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

If the Reds get something other than the Hawk T2 then one of them will be in the Reds scheme

On another note. F# maybe, I met a shady character in a car park earlier today and received a supply of the grey stuff in neat boxes.

4 x 1/72 Airfix Vampire T.11's and a couple of canopies from Lee via JayBee, thank you both,

and later during the day I met up with Joe Cherrie and I came home with lots of resin bits and

1 x 1/144 Welsh Models Valiant
1 x 1/144 Welsh Models Vulcan
1 x 1/144 Welsh Models Victor
1 x 1/144 Welsh Models BAe 146/100

I am thinking of turning both the Victor and Vulcan into Phase III versions, not sure about the Valiant yet.

As far as the Welsh models Valiant is concerned, as it has the refueling probe moulded in, which the Micro Mir kit does not, wait for the AIM B2 conversion kit to come out and make an operational one with it.
