Okay, had some paint problems that prevented this from being done in time for the BoBgb, but work is continuing. Major assemblies have been glued, and painting has commenced.

Just about done. And the score so far is: The Rat 2, Carpet Monster 0. And one was a tiny leading edge light transparency!  ;D  Decals may be a disaster, they're very old and seem brittle. Might brush on some Micro Superfilm first.

Except for the odd touch-up, painting is finished. All that remains is to affix the decals, upper radio antenna, antenna wire, and the winch propeller. Back story is also finished.

Some ferkling around has resulted in replacements for some of the decals, not an exact match but close enough for government work!

Nothing like a bit of ferkling to improve a model.  :thumbsup: ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
