Interesting. Thank you very much for the hint.

Yes, I have been looking forward to this since Tony Buttler mentioned it a few years ago, it should be interesting to see what sort of format and structure they have gone for this time as you can tell when you compare the US Secret Projects of WWII with the original British Secret Projects.

The new book should inspire a few builds no doubt and we're bound to ask JCC & Tony when we see them at SWM as to when the next volume is to be expected  ;D

Ah, but which war? Franco Prussian war of 1870?

Come to think of it, any aircraft in that book will be after that war  :banghead:

Perhaps it begins with Secret BALLOON Projects of the Franco-Prussian War.

Cheers Geoff. The designs from the late 40's through the 50's are fascinating so I will be getting it but it's probably moved down the list a bit. Although if it's at Hudders ?

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

NARSES2

Yup Mike told me about that on Sunday and we got a speculating as one does at a show. Both wondered what Mitchell would have produced if he had lived into the late 40's or even into the 50's

Prefer the cover of my old version with the Fairey Delta 3 on it.

Also due out soon, Setember 30th this time, is Brit Secret Projects 5 which appears to be covering just one project- the English Electric Space Shuttle. https://www.amazon.co.uk/British-Secret-Projects-Britains-Shuttle/dp/1910809020/ref=pd_bxgy_14_img_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=P3BRR504NGVAGWYBV5DA
I remember seeing a tv program on this system way back in the 1970's or early 80's, Three lifting body shaped vehicles stuck back to back to errr... back? All of which were to be flown back to base to be reused.

A book all about MUSTARD, should be good.  I just hope it doesn't cover too much of the material already covered in BSP HYpersonics and the Military Space Technology books.
