Judging by the shape of it could be a Fairchild design?

Hmmm, I've had it on order from Amazon since April, and their last email about it said it could be as late as Sept 17th!  :banghead:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Amazon can be rather slow to refresh their data at times. It was in the crecy spring catalogue

My 'US Airlifters Vol 2' is en route to me according to Amazon.

Sadly for them the one I actually pre-ordered was Vol 1.............

It's US Secret Projects Volume 2 - US Airlifters 1941-1961 (Volume 1 is US Secret Projects WW2)

USP Vol3 will be the 2nd part of Airlifters 1962 - Present and is due the end of Sept

All these re-titlings, it's all too complicated for me.  :banghead:

Anyway, I've got it and it's truly amazing! Goodness knows what some of those designers were on at the time, but it must have been pretty powerful.  :o 

There's a couple of designs in there that Tophe would LOVE! Twin boomed AND asymmetric too!  :thumbsup:

I'm waiting for the Italian Secret Projects 1934 - 1943 to come out. According to Amazon it's June 30th but I don't trust the .......so will order from my local bookshop once I have confirmation from the publishers.
