Just to say I'll be there for a few hours on the Saturday morning as per usual. So if anyone wants to meet up.

Have to be away in the afternoon as my niece will be in town. 3rd time she's managed to come down Southern Expo weekend.

I sense a conspiracy...

Unfortunately this isn't quite southern enough for me.   ;D

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Would you believe it as a certain Mr Meldrew would have said. Just checked train times etc (I'm always well in advance in my planning) and there's a flippin' bus replacement service from Stratford !  :banghead: Looking at the timetable it has the standard TFL optimistic timetable for such services - have the people who do these timetables ever used a replacement bus service ? Let alone on a Saturday

Anyway I'll probably still go, just have to take the District Line down to Hornchurch and then bus or walk. Those times look a tad optimistic as well, but at least they've over estimated the walking time, I think

So I'll be there from about 10:00am to about midday

I can't be there this year as I'm working 9-5 both days.  :banghead:

Have fun and take pics!

"They" don't want me to go ! The flipping District now is a part closure and replacement bus service  :banghead: Still I can get around that by taking 3 different tube lines, should be interesting  I will get there but only for a couple of hours before heading "up West" . Need to catch up with Mike.

Well after seeing parts of the Underground system I've never seen before I got there and back, although I was staggered how busy said Tube was. It was as busy as I remember it in the rush hour

Spent an enjoyable couple of hours and caught up with a few people. Apologies to them for not hanging around longer as I was on a tight schedule. The show didn't seem quite as crowded as usual this year, definitely a little more room for sure.

One of the things I like about Southern is that there are a usually a couple of traders attending who you don't normally see. One is Armour Fast and providing my A9 Cruiser builds go well they are a company I will be revisiting. The other is a guy who mainly sells ship models. I never realised there were so many different companies or models available in both I.P. and resin. Was sorely tempted by a couple of R.N. models (an AA cruiser and destroyer) but at nearly £30 a go I though I'd better test myself on something cheaper first. The answer is what ? Probably have a look at MK.

Would those by the Flyhawk models ?, if so they are very good, and they have a Hermes 1941 era due out this spring !!

They definitely had some by them Geoff, but I can't remember if the AAA cruiser I saw was theirs or not.
